DISCLOSURE
ProFuture Accounting Academy Inc.
Effective Date: April 20, 2026
ProFuture Accounting Academy Inc. (“ProFuture,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to transparency. This Disclosure explains the material relationships, compensation arrangements, affiliate connections, and editorial practices that underlie the Content we publish on https://profuturetaxacademy.ca, https://training.profuturetaxacademy.ca, our social-media channels, our podcasts, our emails, and in our courses.
1. Affiliate and Referral Relationships
Throughout our Content, we may recommend third-party tools, software, books, services, and platforms that we use in our own practice or that we believe will benefit our students. Some of these recommendations are made through affiliate or referral programs, which means that if you click a link and make a qualifying purchase or subscription, we may receive a commission, referral bonus, or other compensation at no additional cost to you.
Affiliate relationships we commonly participate in include, without limitation:
- Intuit QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop partner programs
- TaxCycle reseller or referral programs
- Zoho Partner Program
- Payment processors (Stripe, Square, Moneris, etc.)
- Email, hosting, and LMS platforms
- Banking partners (where permitted by the bank’s referral program)
- Book and course platforms (Amazon Associates, where applicable)
Our recommendations are based on our professional experience as Canadian CPAs. Compensation does not change our opinion of the tool. We regularly use the tools we recommend in our own firm.
2. Professional Disclosure — CPA Status
ProFuture Accounting Academy Inc. is owned and directed by Kaival Vishnubhai Patel, CA (India) and CPA (Canada), and by ProFuture’s leadership team. Kaival is a member in good standing of CPA Ontario, operating a separate licensed public accounting firm (KVP CPA Professional Corporation).
ProFuture Accounting Academy Inc. itself is an educational company. It is NOT a public accounting firm, it does NOT hold a public-accounting licence, and attending any Academy course does NOT create an accountant-client, CPA, or fiduciary relationship with any student.
3. Endorsements and Testimonials
We share testimonials, reviews, and student success stories in our marketing. In compliance with Canadian Competition Act provisions and Competition Bureau guidelines on influencer and testimonial marketing:
- All testimonials reflect the experience of a specific individual and are not typical.
- Material connections (employment, affiliate commissions, free or discounted access, family or personal relationships) are disclosed alongside the testimonial
- Paid endorsements or sponsored mentions are clearly labelled as such
- Income, client-volume, practice-growth, or examination results shared are not promises of what you will achieve — please refer to our Earning Disclaimer
4. Sponsored Content and Advertising
From time to time, we may publish sponsored content, paid advertisements, or host sponsored webinars. Sponsored content is clearly labelled with language such as “Sponsored,” “Advertisement,” “Presented by,” or “In partnership with.” We retain final editorial control over all Content, whether sponsored or not, and we will not publish content that conflicts with our professional views or that we believe misleads our audience.
5. Editorial Independence
Our Content reflects our professional opinions at the time of publication. We strive to be accurate, current, and practical. However, tax legislation, CRA administrative positions, and accounting standards change frequently. You should always verify any information against the latest CRA guidance, the CPA Canada Handbook, and applicable federal and provincial legislation before relying on it.
6. Gifts and Industry Relationships
From time to time, vendors or partners may provide us with complimentary software licences, trial accounts, beta access, conference tickets, or demonstration products. Accepting these items never obligates us to provide a favourable review. If we publish content about a product we received complimentary access to, we will disclose that fact within the content.
7. Earnings and Business Model
ProFuture Accounting Academy Inc. earns revenue primarily through:
- Course, bootcamp, and membership sales
- Live session and workshop fees
- Affiliate and referral commissions
- Sponsored content and advertising (when clearly labelled)
- Licensing of training content to accounting firms
8. Changes to This Disclosure
We may update this Disclosure from time to time. Updates take effect upon posting. Please review this page periodically for changes.
